Suiciderock: Could you introduce yourself to start up with this interview? What should people know about Jann Wilde and Rose Avenue?
Rene: Jann would you like to start?
Tender Rex: I'm Tender, I play the drums. This guy is my best friend (points to Rene).
Rene: Hi, my name is Rene.
Jann: This is Arde he is playing the guitar. I'm Jann Wilde or also Mr Wilde. I play some sort of guitar and I do the vocals.
Tender Rex: We started to play back in 2005 and now we are here with Negative. What else?
Jann: We are glamour.
Rene: I`m not.
Suiciderock: Yeah he looks like he prefers the country style?
Rene: It's more like the bluesstyle.

Suiciderock: How would you describe what you do to someone who has never heard of your band?
Jann: It is glamourus art with punk attitude and a bit of Rock'n Roll sometimes.
Tender Rex: It is so hard to describe our music because every song is different. We don't have a straight line when it comes to our music. We can play a big variaty. We all have different kinds of influences.
Rene: I think we all have a different musical background. It is a big mess.

Suiciderock: Your band name is quite long. Who had the idea for this name and why did you choose such a long name?
Jann: First it was kind of a joke. We had a band called Rose Avenue. And we had this name „Jann Wilde" than we put it together.
Tender Rex: I knew Jann and Rene a long time before we got the band together. I met them in 2004  and we decided to play together and that's it. We are here now.
Rene: I think everything started when Arde and Jann met each other.
Jann: We came from the stars.
Rene: Yes, we felt from the stars. It was a big bless and a big curse.

Suiciderock: Who made up your artist names? And is there a special story behind them?
Rene: Yes there is a story behind but I don't wanna talk about it (*laughs*).
Tender Rex: Arde and Jann made up my stage name. I received a text message which said that „this is your artist name now".
Rene: I guess it comes from TREX.
Tender Rex: And I'm a tender person...

Suiciderock:  If you can pick one word to describe each member of the band which words would you use to do so?
Rene: Tender is „happy".
Suiciderock: So you are sad than?
Rene (*laughs*): Yeah I'm a drama.
Arde: I'm Mr Rock'n Roll.
Jann: I'm Mr Popp, Popp'n Roll.

Suiciderock: Are there any bands that had major influences of your own style?
Rene: There are lot's of bands.
Jann: David Bowie, T-Rex, Boy George,...

Suiciderock:  What inspires you for your lyrics and who is responsible for the songwriting?
Rene: Mostly Jann.


Suiciderock: So where do you take the ideas for your songs from?
Jann: The inspiration comes from everywhere. If there is a line that I like I steel it for our songs (*jokes*).
Suiciderock: Your debut single „Boys out of New York" will be released on November, 08th. What is the song about?
Tender Rex: No, the release date has been postponed to the 15th.
Jann: It is about Freddie Mercury and New York.
Rene: Actually it is a big secret. Should you be first to know?
Suiciderock: Yep.
Jann: It is sooooo secret. It is about Freddie Mercury and New York, some disease came around...

Suiciderock: Normally every band shots a videoclip for a single. Do you have any plans to shoot a videoclip or have you shot one already?
Rene: Yes, we already have some plans. We will shoot the video by the end of the month. 

Suiciderock: Are there any plans to release an album? If yes, can you tell us a bit about it?
Tender Rex: Yes, the album will come out early next year. But we don't know the acutal date yet.

Suiciderock: You are on tour with Negative. Is it your first time here in Germany? What are your expectations for this tour?
Rene: Yes, it is our first time here in Germany.
Tender Rex: We expect a hype (*laughs*).
Rene: I try to keep my hat.
Tender Rex: We gonna have a great time. The last shows have been amazing.
Rene: It was great to play here. The crowd is so much different.
Arde: It is cool to play here.

Suiciderock: Is there something special you do before going on stage like a special procedure?
Jann: Not really.
Rene: We are not like a football team. We don't build a circle and scream something or whatever.
Tender Rex: I just try to relax. I don't think about everything too much.

Suiciderock: Where do you get the ideas for your dresses from?
Rene: From varius places.

Suiciderock:  After finishing this tour what are your future plans?
Jann: It is a big big secret.
Tender Rex: Let's see what the time will bring and what's happening.
Jann: Just playing this tour.

Jann: Do we have any fans?
Suiciderock: At least yesterday you had some...
Rene: Have you been there?
Suiciderock: Yes, how would we know if we have`t been there?
Rene: Did you like it?
Suiciderock: Yep it was great.

Rene: It means „God bless all our fans".

Tender Rex: It was something nice.
